MYNI 1st Residential
A week-end residential has been organised for MYNI members in preparation for the 2008 Autumn / Winter season.

This will take place in the North Eastern Education and Library Board Residential Centre, “DERGANAGH HOUSE”, in Ballycastle.

What?
The programme will be split between possible various activities:
  • Leadership Training
  • Planning for the forthcoming activities of MYNI for 2008 / 2009
  • Discussions around Special Events for young people at BIC
  • Taking responsibility for MYNI development and Programme
  • Launch of MYNI and the Website
  • Planning Inter-Club visits with other youth organisations
  • Activities on the Beach (Weather permitting!!)
  • Possibility for some outdoor pursuit activities
  • Discovering North Antrim & Ballycastle’s leisure facilities
Who?
The programme is open to MYNI (Muslim Youth of Northern Ireland) members, boys and girls, between the ages of 12 and 17 years. As the centre is self-catering we would welcome the assistance of some families to help with the preparation of meals etc. Family accommodation is limited but it may be possible to bring along their younger children, on the understanding that the MYNI programme is designed and suitable for its members only and so parents should accept responsibility for the supervision of their own younger children.

Where? (Please note that a bus will be available from BIC)
